Song of Spring
Dreary skies
reflect
forlorn feelings.
Willow wanders
into
the drizzle-damp,
into
the woodland fog,
lost
in loneliness.
Until…
skitter
scurry
Mouse?
No…
hop
flutter
Bird!

Watch…
Wonder…
perch
TRILL
Sunshine song
fills the mossy cathedral
leaving no room
to feel forlorn.
Bright notes
become
bright feelings...
freedom to
hope.
The Pacific Wren
The Pacific Wren is a fluffy ball of feathers who hops and scurries through the underbrush. When the male perches and sings, it fills the forest with magical trills, bringing the joyful song of spring to even the most dreary of days!
